In this class, students will learn the Fair Isle stranded colorwork knitting technique using Virginia Sattler-Reimer’s Tettegouche mittens pattern. Suitable for those new to colorwork, this class will cover important concepts such as how to hold two strands of yarn, how to maintain even tension in colorwork, how to catch floats, and yarn dominance. Students will have all of the necessary skills to finish their mittens following the conclusion of the class.

This class will meet for three two-hour sessions. In addition to the class sessions, students are welcome to attend Friday Sit & Stitch at Moonspun Wool with their works-in-progress for additional help and guidance.

Session One: Saturday, November 7th 11:00am-1:00pm
