Learn some more advanced crochet skills by working on a crochet cowl. We will review the different parts of a crochet stitch, how to count them, and we will also add some fun new stitches to your repertoire. This class will take place over the course of two sessions with the expectation that students will be able to work on a part of the project between the two sessions. The goal is to have a finished project to wear for fall!
Session One: Saturday, October 10th 10:00am-12:00pm
Session Two: Saturday, October 17th 10:00am-12:00pm
Instructor: Nicole Johnson
Materials to bring:
- One skein of size 4 worsted weight yarn (approximately 250yds)
- A 5mm crochet hook
Prerequisites: Basic crochet skills such as chaining and single crochet. Feeling comfortable with these beginning crochet skills is important before moving onto new stitches and concepts.
Skills you will learn:
- Half double crochet
- Slip stitch
- Double crochet
- Treble crochet
- Counting stitches
Refund and Cancellation Policy: There are no class refunds. If you need to cancel, we are happy to extend your payment to the next available class or offer in-store credit. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled class in order for payment to transfer. If class minimum is not met, students will be notified via email of class cancellation and refunded the course fee.
2-6 participants, ages 18 and up.
