Small Hand Carders

Small Hand Carders are used in pairs to card and prepare your fibers in the traditional way, producing small rolags for spinning. These carders are portable, lightweight and have a comfortable handle and large carding area.

The card cloth has wire teeth with a special protective coating and a flexible rubber backing for long life, and the handle and backing are made of unfinished Beech hardwood and New Zealand Pine.

Available in both Standard 72 point teeth and Fine 108 point teeth. Card size is approximately 7" x 3".

Minimal assembly required: The handle needs to be attached to the base with a provided screw. Wood glue can be used for extra strength.
