Ashford Niddy Noddy

The Niddy Noddy is a useful accessory for winding yarn from the spinning wheel bobbin and creating a skein. Made from turned, unfinished Silver Beech hardwood, the specially shaped crossbars allow the skein of yarn to slide off easily when made. Easy to dismantle for storage or transportation.

The Standard size will create a 5 foot (1.5m) skein or hank.

The Sampler size will create a small 1 yard (90cm) skein or hank.
