In the first class session, students will learn the unique methods for knitting 2-color Brioche, which involves set-up rows and the 4-pass/2-row repeating pattern for creating the lofted linear fabric of Brioche. The second session will focus on how to increase and decrease stitches for branching/left-leaning/right-leaning design features employed in more complex Brioche projects.
With these skills, students will be able to complete Brioche projects offered in the future, including I Spread My Wings by Svetlana Ford, Brioche Topper by Laura Nelkin, and Advancing Lines Scarf by Lavonya Patricella.
We will meet for two sessions:
Session One: Thursday, December 4th, 5:30pm-8:00pm
