Hearth Broom Making

Join us to create your own unique hearth broom. Bigger than the whisk broom, but smaller than the kitchen broom, the hearth broom is medium-sized for dirty jobs. We will use broomcorn and your choice of a large selection of dyed reed and nylon string. Driftwood broom handles will be provided. Each broom will turn out different and be a beautiful piece of functional art.

Prerequisites: All levels of experience are welcome. Arm and hand strength is required. 

Class Materials: All materials to make one hearth broom will be provided.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: There are no class refunds. If you need to cancel, we are happy to extend your payment to the next available class or offer in-store credit. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled class in order for payment to transfer. If class minimum is not met, students will be notified via email of class cancellation and refunded the course fee.
