Granny Square Crochet

In this course you will learn how to make the classic granny square. They are a useful and versatile crochet motif that can be used individually or joined together to make a blanket or sweater! We will learn double crochet stitches, magic circle, crocheting in the round, and different joining options, including color joining techniques.

Prerequisites:  Beginner friendly. Some experience is preferred.

Materials to Bring:

• One or more colors of worsted weight yarn
• A 5mm crochet hook
• A tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers (optional)

• Double crochet stitch
• Magic circle
• Techniques for joining squares
• Reading granny square patterns
• Finishing techniques

Refund and Cancellation Policy: There are no class refunds. If you need to cancel, we are happy to extend your payment to the next available class or offer in-store credit. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled class in order for payment to transfer. If class minimum is not met, students will be notified via email of class cancellation and refunded the course fee.
