This custom-spun and hand dyed Merino yarn is grown on small farms in the Rocky Mountains and milled in North Carolina. Though a single ply, it is strong from the dyeing process which very gently felts the yarn, making it durable enough to handle the maneuvering of cables and lace.
With over 400 yards per ball you will find enough yarn to create a medium sized shawl that is light but warm. Use two, and you will have a large warm shawl or wrap to see you through the chilliest of days. Gradients transition smoothly keeping you engaged and enthralled as you work on your project.

About Hand Dyed Yarn: Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, colors can also vary slightly between skeins and dye lots. We recommend purchasing enough yarn for your entire project and alternating skeins to achieve a more uniform look.
Care Information: Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry.
