Beginners Spinning on a Spinning Wheel

This class is for beginning spinners with little to no experience. We will learn about how spinning wheels work, fiber preparation, drafting and creating singles and two ply yarn. 

We will meet for two sessions:

Session One: Saturday, March 21st  10:00am-12:30pm

Session Two: Saturday, March 28th  10:00am-12:00pm

Prerequisites: None

Class Materials:  If you have a spinning wheel in working order, please bring this to use. We will not have time in class to repair or troubleshoot spinning wheels in need of maintenance. If you do not have a spinning wheel we have shop wheels available to rent at Moonspun Wool for $25 per week. Please contact us prior to the class if you would like to choose this option. Fiber for spinning will be provided. 

Skills you will learn:

• Week One: Spin singles
• Week Two: Ply singles

Refund and Cancellation Policy: There are no class refunds. If you need to cancel, we are happy to extend your payment to the next available class or offer in-store credit. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled class in order for payment to transfer. If class minimum is not met, students will be notified via email of class cancellation and refunded the course fee.
