Beginners Spinning on a Spinning Wheel

This class is for beginning spinners with little to no experience. You will learn about how spinning wheels work, fiber preparation, drafting and creating singles and two ply yarn. 

This class will meet for two sessions:

Session One: Saturday, October 12th  10am-12:30pm

Session Two: Saturday, October 19th  10am-12pm

Prerequisites: None

Class Materials:  If you have a spinning wheel in working order, please bring this to use. If you do not have a spinning wheel we have shop wheels available to rent at Moonspun Wool for $25 per week. Please contact us if you would like to choose this option. Fiber for spinning will be provided. 

Skills you will learn:

• Week One: Spin singles
• Week Two: Ply singles

Refund and Cancellation Policy: There are no class refunds. If you need to cancel, we are happy to extend your payment to the next available class, or offer in-store credit. Payments will be refunded if class minimum participation is not met.
