Granny Square Fingerless Mitts

Using four granny squares we will make these cute fingerless mitts to keep your hands warm for the rest of the winter.

Prerequisites: Students should be able to confidently single and double crochet.

Materials to bring:

• Size 3.25 and 3.5mm crochet hooks
• Size 4 / worsted weight yarn (in one or two colors)
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers (not necessary but could be helpful) 

Skills you will learn:

• Slip stitches
• Working in the back loop
• Working in the round
• Color changing techniques
